costume-The character at the start of the trailer is wearing a white lab coat which suggests he works in a laboratory and the government are doing/trying experiments. The 4 teenagers in the trailer are all wearing casual clothes which suggests they came back from school.

lighting and colour-The lighting at the start of the scene is flashing which suggests something went wrong or someone pressed a wrong button . The lighting throughout the clip was mostly dark and gloomy which suggests it was a later time of the day 

actor placement/movement/expression-The scientist was frightened and ran to safety which suggests he knows what was coming or saw something that scared him. The teen boys left the house to go home on their bikes but one of them swerved into a ditch , this suggests they were all isolated and he may have seen a monster once his friends left him 

setting and props- The lab at the start of the clip which had flashing lights suggests there may have been a lockdown in there. While the teenagers were riding their bikes in the fog they saw a restricted sign which suggests they should have stayed away.
